London Blipmeet

We headed into London today for the London Blipmeet, but first visiting the "Strange and Familiar" exhibition of photographs at the Barbican curated by Martin Parr. It was interesting and thought-provoking.

After having listened to Storm Katie raging all night, we were extremely relieved to see blue skies and sun turn up on cue for the Blipmeet. We all met up by Tower Bridge, and meandered down the riverside towards Blackfriars, chatting and occasionally remembering to take photos.

We paused in the Hays Galleria for our Blipmeet photo - from Left to Right: DankSound, Danky, Annie (front, Chris is the camera man), NicoiseAnnie, Arachne, AH14, EmmaF's daughter (front - lovely to meet you, C :) ), MaggiePye, EmmaF, BitterSweet, StrangledDuck, KandCamera and EyeCatching.

We popped into a pub by Blackfriars for a longer chat, and fortuitously avoided the heavy rain shower that appeared just as we went in. So good to meet so many blippers, and a great reminder of the lovely people we have in this blip community. Thanks all for coming along.
