Start of the thaw

It was -5 to -20 most of the time, but at the end of the week there was a sudden warming, up to +4. It's a harbinger of the big thaw that will be coming along soon; already the ice on one of the rivers is melting fast. The extras are a couple of views in the hills around Akaslompolo, showing that winter still has a fairly good hold - for now.
