Derwentwater at dawn
I always try to get to Derwentwater at least once for 'sunrise'... ok, there wasn't any colour this morning, but there were reflections, including a misty moon.
The rest of the day was spent around Buttermere (yes, we did walk all the way round). I spent a lot of time experimenting with my IR camera and made two discoveries - namely that both polarizers and big stoppers seem to work in the normal way, whereas ordinary grad filters don't.
So: my two extras show 1) a colour swapped polarised shot across Buttermere, and 2) a straight-out-of-camera big stoppered shot, showing the original, rather attractive colour tone which the blue cast of the stopper seems to have given it.
