Squirrel Blip Friday!
Finally.
I found a squirrel and I managed to snag a photo. They are not common in my neighborhood but we do see them at the mountain cabin- and they are fast. Lol
This entry is for KevinV who always manages to get a great squirrel photo- I know this isn't as grand as his but it is a thank you for the inspiration. Thank you!!!
Now, I'm also hoping that someone knows what kind of squirrel it is?
Added 3/31/16:
Abert's squirrel (or tassel-eared squirrel) (Sciurus aberti) is a tree squirrel in the genus Sciurus endemic to the Rocky Mountains from United States to Mexico, with concentrations found in Arizona, the Grand Canyon, New Mexico, and southwestern Colorado. It is closely associated with, and largely confined to, cool dry ponderosa pine forests. It is named in honour of the American naturalist John James Abert and nine subspecies are recognised.
