Anemone blanda

This little anemone closes at night and when the snow came yesterday, it just remained tight shut and waited for the sun to return. And then, behold, at the sun's behest, it spread its petals once more and greeted the day. It is such a brave cheerful little flower and I wish I had more than this little clump.
