Easter Baking

Easter Sunday was a lazy start after a disrupted night awake til the wee hours with my mum who came down with a sudden stomach bug. Poor mummy and poor lil' bro, who was also staying over at our parents house, he only had two hours' sleep before getting up to start work at Gatwick Airport at 03:45!

I baked Easter cakes for family and friends in the afternoon and watched the 162nd Oxford Cambridge Boat Race with dad. We were thrilled Cambridge won after three years being beaten!

I was sad to leave my snoozing, recovering mum early evening when I left for a sleep over with friends. Their three year old daughter crept out of bed to see Auntie Sam when I arrived which warmed my heart.
