Hot Weather Treats

The weather has been quite hot the last several days - 87-91 F -  and feels humid, which is only common here during spring. April, May, June are the hottest months.  On our way home from the market, we stopped for a nieve, which is an ice cold treat that is sort of midway between sorbet and ice cream, and is made in many imaginative flavors. They do not use artificial flavors. Strawberry is made with real strawberries, chocolate with their freshly ground chocolate, coconut with unsweetened coconut...we had mezcal and a mixture of mango, berries, and coconut.
