How does this work?

At the Victorian Art Gallery (NGV) in Melbourne today, this little boy was intrigued with the water window. He is wearing a crown that he would have made in the children's activity room at the NGV, dressing up as Napoleon -- the current exhibition.

Kids and adults love this water feature (sometimes called the fish-shop window) at the entrance, a feature retained through popular outcry -- it was almost lost to 'renovations'.
