Union Depot
After being sick for a week, it felt good to get out and walk today. During my lunch hour I went out to explore the St Paul (MN) skyway system and found my way to the Union Depot. (Also found my way back to the office without getting lost!). This train depot was built in 1917 and was a bustling train and bus station for many years. The last train left the station in 1971. The building was then used by the US Post Office. A magnificent restoration project took place between 2010 and 2012 and Union Depot is now a major transportation hub for St Paul. The Amtrak Trains and 100's of buses come and go through the Depot every day. Makes me want to get on the train!
