Winter approaching

Although we are still experiencing mild days (23°C today) there are a few signs about telling us that we are well into autumn with winter approaching. It is frustrating that we had to purchase a new electric blanket because a controller failed on the old one and cannot be repaired or replaced. Another example of the strange throw away society which we live in.
