Windmill Windlust

This windmill called Windlust at the Smidsweg in Westmaas was built as flour mill in 1853 and was in operation until 1952 . The family Leeuwenburg had a pet shop downstairs till the mill was sold to the municipality Westmaas in 1961. In 1992, the Foundation Mills Binnenmaas became the new owner. The mill has been fully restored in 2009/2010 and regularly opened to visitors.
