Queen's View and and Schiehallion (again).

A nice day with sunshine and some rain showers.

We took Kristi (our Granddaughter,  and Jake (her partner) to see Pitlochry and the Queen's View (see map). For those who have been following my Blips, unbelievably, Schiehallion makes another guest appearance, this time from the east end of Loch Tummel. This is only 6.6 miles from Tummel Bridge, where we visited last week. The view shows how calm the day was - notice the reflections in the bottom left.

Afterwards, the youngsters walked down to the Soldier's Leap at Killekrankie Gorge - way too steep for the 'oldies'.

We travelled back to my son's house in Dundee, where we had a gathering of four grandchildren in our family meal.
