Sweetcorn

Well not quite as we had hoped and one I think not to repeat. The plants grew well, but took 3-4 months from seed and what we harvested was a little inedible', There should have been  enough sun but I think these fellas need a LOT of water and really that is not a good expense  where we live as water is not cheap. The root system is also quite hard to remove and I've now learnt that Sweetcorn is a nutrient junkie and so the peas and beans I've now planted will need to help re-set the soil
