There are so many beautiful trees in Swellendam and I wanted to get to know them. I found a little book about trees in Southern Africa, but the first tree I decided to investigate was not in the book. It is a huge tree with dark bark and very distinctive leaves, but what is it?
I worked most of the day. 
It was sunny and warm again, which made me very happy.
