Winged Wednesday :: WW001 :: Robin & Chaffinch

I've set myself a mini challenge I'm calling Winged Wednesday. 

Over the past few days I have been experimenting with trying to photograph birds in my garden. Not something I have tried much before. It appears sitting quietly with a mug of coffee and camera in hand has let the birds get used to my presence.

I will give it a go for a while and if all else fails there's always the planes waiting to land at Heathrow, Gatwick and Biggin Hill or if I'm very lucky the odd angel or unicorn... ;o)

The chaffinch is in Extras. The Robins are still nicking all the grubs!
