pottery throw down time!

All alone at pottery today so thought I would have a cheeky go on the wheel, had to wedge clay to make sure no air bubbles in it, clay has to be made into a nice round ball then thrown onto wheel in centre! Needs to be adjusted sometimes. Wheel is slowly turned using treadle increasing speed when confident keeping left hand always on pot firmly guiding it with the other, not as easy as it looks! Had 3 attempts first one I cut in half to check thickness. fairly pleased with 2nd effort!
