Wednesday walkers
Only 17 Haltwhistle walkers were out on the long walk today. A number of people are tied up with family duties over the Easter holidays and a few were doing recces for the Spring Festival.
We did a circular walk from Colwell via the Hallington reservoir and Thockrington church.
It was a clear day and we could see for miles. The fields were full of sheep and lambs. I spotted this sheepdog on the back of the quad bike, waiting for the farmer to return with a sheep and her two lambs. I liked the back lighting and the view beyond, which is typical of the area.
Off tonight to photograph a jazz session at the local music centre in Hexham. I have no idea what sort of lighting there will be. It will be fun I'm sure.
Mum is continuing to make steady progress and is trying not to rush things.
