A walk on the wild side .....

.... of Threave Gardens. A beautiful day to explore this National Trust venue. L and I were on the hunt for unusual daffodils but I think we were a week or two too early. Plenty of the common ones in bloom but sadly not the full 200 varieties.

As we walked around, taking far too many photographs, this beautiful pheasant happened to cross our path. He seemed very happy to show off his magnificent feathery coat.
