Tractor Tuesday - Dream Machine

Well not quite but it's the sort of thing I am looking for. This one is a Deutz 4006 with 35hp, I need 45hp. I didn't find out the age as the plate was covered in dirt and I didn't have a tissue to clean it off. Probably late 60#s early 70's. However this one isn't for sale, it is in for a service.

After the morning walk, dropped by the local Deutz specialists to see if they had any old machines for sale. They very rarely do but thought I should at least have a look. I like the idea of a Deutz because the older ones are air cooled - much easier for me as I so rarely use it in winter. They are like the old VW Beetle which always started however cold it was, even if the journey thereafter for the passengers was in temperatures not much above the outdoor one.

Today found the first daffodil in the garden. Weather certainly taken a change and in April mode. On Thursday, they are talking about +20°C, so one can safely take off the snowploughs now.

I am going through a bit of a roller coast ride at the moment and being a very very bad Bliper - sorry. Wasn't helped by Germany beating Italy for the first time in centuries at football. I had taken up a bet with an American-Italian friend saying I would take a schnapps for each goal Germany scored. It luckily ended up 4-1 and me on the floor.
