The old baths!

Driving through Ashton-under-Lyne I've always loved the distinctive shape of the old corporation baths. The tower housed the flues from the steam boilers and heaters. I remember swimming there before it closed in 1975. A restoration project is underway due to be completed early this year (not sure if it is finished) the new purpose will be to house new businesses.
This isn't the best picture but the best Gemma could manage for me as she snapped it as I was driving along the by-pass.
