End of an era

My mother moved into this house when she was 4. She's 83 now. Seventy nine years is a long time in the same house! She has lots of interesting stories about the house, its history and its architecture. Obviously it was my family home too - quite a strange feeling locking the door for the last time. Still, you take your memories with you. She's moved to a lovely retirement flat, at least, it will be lovely once we unpack all the boxes!
