Old Rayne in the rain

This is the 17th century mercat cross in the small village of Old Rayne where my work took me tonight as part of our Gad aboot and Gab aboot Garioch community engagement project. A beautiful spring morning had disappeared with a series of heavy showers marking the later part of the day. I think April has come early!
