11 hours on a ship with drunken jerks
We took a taxi to the Stockholm harbour early in the morning. Our ship left 7 a.m. We wanted to spare some money and decided to travel without a cabin. Actually the hours passed more easily than we feared. We did the same on our first InterRail on 2007 and as far as we remember, it was much more boring.
What was not so nice was that there were many who obviously had thought that the journey passes sooner by getting inebriated. My regular viewers probably have noticed that I don't refuse from a nice drink. I, too, had one beer (Ayinger celebrator) at the ship pub. Would've probably had a few more if we weren't on a budget (the pub in the ship was much more expensive than on the one we arrived to Stockholm with). But I don't understand what's the point of drinking yourself into such a condition that you can hardly walk out of the ship with your own feet. That seemed to be the case with quite a few people.
In the evening we arrived to Turku and stayed the night in a nice hostel.
