Notre-Dame Cathedral of Reims is a Gothic art masterpiece. Rainy day in Reims.
When we strolled from our hotel in the morning to the cathedral, we actually got to see the President of France Francois Hollande and the Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, as they were in Reims during a day of ceremonies to commemorate the 50th anniversary of renewed Franco-German relations after World War II.
We saw them appr. from 5 meters distance as they were greeting people that had gathered around the cathedral because of this event.
