2 friends are in Hyde Park tonight. I say 2 friends but I haven't met either of them and they're not together but both, like me, huge fans of the icon that is Madonna.

I bought this crucifix at Lincoln Cathedral back at the height of her success in the mid 80s.

We agree to disagree on a woman in her 50s being desperate to still be her younger self but I admire her work ethic and, aside from one song, love her latest album.

I will see her in concert again on Thursday, thankfully with a seat and thankfully at a venue with a roof!

The tickets say "no cameras" but I will be trying my hardest to get a Madge blip!
