Loch Rannoch forrest walk

J's birthday today so it was present opening in bed.

Off to Pitlochery after loading the car for a few days in a hotel which we got a deal on. The main Pitlochery hotel with bed, breakfast, evening meal and a bottle of wine.

We were given a room in the small old Bank of Scotland building next door to the main hotel but it was a bedroom with a turret.

Went for a short walk in the forrest next to Loch Rannoch. This is part of the stream that ran alongside the car park. The midges were out in force while I tried to hold the camera steady without a tripod to take the photo and was rewarded with 10 or so bites on my hands and head, even though I was covered in Smidge that Midge.
