THE THISTLE THE MOTH & THE SPIDER
MERHABA MY FRIENDS
A SHORT ( TRUE ) STORY
As the Thistle swayed gently in the breeze,
Molly Moth lay quietly under the petals trying
to merge into nothingness, as Norman Spider
scurried across the unfurled thistle buds, looking
for a mid-morning nibble to fill an empty hole in
his tum tum, "just a snack to see me through till lunch"
he mumbled to himself.
The thoughtful Thistle felt Norman Spider crawling over
his petals and began to spread the petals firmly over Molly
Moth to protect her from the nasty Spider " He can look
else were" Thistle whispered to Molly. Mrs Moth smiled
and gently closed her eyes, as she faded into a deep slumber,
dreaming of Beautiful Butterfly's, in silk and satin colors.
Mean while nasty Norman Spider began weaving his web in
order to capture some poor little, unsuspecting creature,
with a devilish grin on his face he quickly set his trap.....
and waited .
