Dead or Alive.

Sorry if you are a bit squeamish.
Beautiful day, so spent most of it at RSPB Fairburn Ings.
There is still work going on after the floods. Seeing it today it was hard to believe most of it was under water.
Highlights today was seeing two kingfishers. Too far away for a good photo.
A stoat, which was so fast no chance of any sort of capture. So lovely to see. It even swam across the river.
Sand martins which were inspecting the new wall especially built for them.
Lots of reed buntings on the feeders.
As well as the swans.
Unfortunately we also spotted this one which which had provided a good meal for something, but that is nature.
