Estuary

This is the point where the river from my home town reaches the coast, thirty miles north. Looks fairly benign today, but can really move fast here, look at the debris. It also spreads across a wide area and parts are shallow, as you can see from the extra. Looks sunny, but it was very cold in there! Fishermen!
The swans were a pair and the ospreys often fish in this pool. The dolphins feed regularly at the river mouth.
Lovely day for a walk.
