Perspective

I seem to be having good days and bad days at the moment, and this has not been such a good one. I didn't sleep so well, which was good news in one respect - in that I was awake early enough to capture a beautiful temperature inversion. I usually end up running all over the place on such mornings, looking for different perspectives on the mist and light, but today I was content to meander gently about and let them come to me. And they did just that. I still can't quite believe that this is effectively taken in my front garden, just a couple of hundred yards away from home. It served as a reminder of how lucky I am.
