Sunflower in B&W

Title says it all really.
This is the opened sunflower I blipped earlier this month. I took a few shots of it and by carefully considering the options and studying the effects available messing about discovered that it actually works best in B&W. I think it is because the seeds show up more prominently.
It looks like it has a little tongue. Actually it is a tiny leaf that has not unfurled.
By the look of the others they will all bloom while we are away, so I will probably miss them.
