Safe haven

As the sun sets around 10pm on the harbour at Binic, on the Baie de St Brieuc in Brittany, France, two small sailing boats slip into the harbour on a windless evening. The evenings here on the north coast of Brittany are amazingly long - presumably because the clocks are an hour ahead of BST although the location is on the same longitude as we are in western Scotland.
