History geek

Back on Barra and using the increasing time between the end of school and the sun going down.
The more I become a history geek, the more I appreciate scenes like this. The imprints left on the remote landscape on Barra by those scratching a fairly meagre existence out of the moorland. by Borve.  
The brooding sky probably helped the image - it didn't help me as I was a fair way from the car when the squall struck and got pretty damp.
