Victory is sweet

 After a very early start, Lorenzo and his family arrived at the stadium on time but little Ricky's  shoes and socks had been left behind at home in the rush.. Needless to say it was a damp, cold day burt a chinese shop was found and horrible shoes and socks purchaesd.

Our team won the tournament on penalties against Turin.
The whoppimg great cup in the extra shot was awarded to a team from Sicily who didn't score a single goal but were very good sports.
There was a great deal of exitement, the kids showed huge determination and skill and there was even a firework display at the end.

The Titch was so impressed by all the hooha that he confirmed his decision to abandon Karate for football.
