Sizzling

This sun is a decoration on my patio wall.  Suns made out of metal, wire or ceramic are very popular ornaments for homes in Arizona.  I prefer the metal kind.  They are fiery and evoke the sense of heat you would associate with one.  A neighbor has a smiling,colorful ceramic one.  When I look at it I think of a clown's face.  Clowns are creepy to me.  I just can't seem to equate the power of the sun with something that gives me the willies!
