Flower Friday

There were lots of bees around along the canal and Potomac River this morning so it was easy to find a blip. The morning started with showers, but around 10 it cleared and turned warm and sunny.  It is now almost 80 degrees which will spawn thunderstorms later before a cooling down, so I think I got out there at the right time.  I was actually hoping to find the Bald Eagle's nest that is visible from Great Falls (Maryland side), but I couldn't spot it.  Anyway, I certainly wasn't going to find an eagle sitting on a flower.
