Hover Fly on Apricot Blossom

A great trip to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at Forte di Bard not far from Aosta with Hibou. The photos are inspirational but make you lust after long lenses, full frame cameras and unlimited travel and time. All of these things are so non environmental, photography is such a dilemma for me at times! So I took my little hoverfly, my wildlife for the day, with a Tough 2 waterproof camera, bought in a sale last year, and smiled.

Thanks for all the recent lovely comments, stars and hearts, I am not keeping up very well at the moment. The garden ..... we need to down size!
