The Duty Robin

A long and tedious journey got us up to Sherwood Forest by about 4.30 and once we'd got the stuff in to our cabin and its tree house (it's not all that high up) I put some food out for the birds. We were soon visited by a variety of them and the nuthatch is the one I'd have like to have blipped for you. By the time he returned the light was fading and even at high ISO he was too fast for me. Never mind, maybe tomorrow when the light's better.

For now here's the duty robin who is very attentive.

Frances and Phoebe, husbands and children (wher appropriate) will arrive after similarly strenuous journeys from different directions.
