The little red box!

Tuesday night is bellringing practice, for this we travel to a church in another village, we are a noisy lot and it doesn't do to upset our neighbours does it?

This post box is in the wall of a beautiful old cottage opposite the church,I don't think its used anymore - if it is you have to go in the garden to get to it.

Perhaps in times past the cottage was the post office, the hub of the village, the village doesn't have a post office now, so no where to go and get the gossip anymore. What a shame!
