Showing up the evidence

The flaxes are right in front of a window and there were many little webs to be seen in the top of each of the flower heads and now seed pods. The overnight rain helped show up this web nicely for a blip. No sun today but we did go round the corner to the rugby. The ground is right behind our cul de sac.
We have also been keeping tabs on the Godzone Adventure Chapter Five which set off today from Kaiteriteri with 71 teams of four. They run, kayak, bike, white water raft etc all around the rivers and mountains of the Nelson region barely stopping to rest. Extreme sport. Of great interest to us is that former All Black captain Richie McCaw is in a team for the first time.
Plus the world winners of three of these races have been won by locals.
