Carshalton in decline

I wasn't sure what to post today, so I'll tell the story of journey down south.

By south I mean Croydon, which is just outside London city limits. The town had become a lot poorer since my last visit. Lots of pound shops littering the high street with only a few visiting the slick malls and chain boutiques. They still seem to know how to party though it seems.

Today's job was just outside Carshalton, which used to be nice (it has a duck pond), not quite so now. My picture of the day is the boarded up remains of the Coach and Horses pub. A local guest house wasn't full but repelling all visitors.
