Plates of meat

Our first of three extra days in Barcelona thanks to the French air traffic controllers strike. We visited the Mercat de St Josep in the morning which had lots of interesting food stalls (see extras). Another market (Santa Caterina market) looked very like the Scottish parliament and was in fact an earlier design by the same architect (Morales). Later we moved from the apartment to a hotel for the remainder of the stay (it had a nice outdoor pool, but it was too cold to use it). We went on the tour bus later in the afternoon and had a great view of some of the beautiful Gaudi buildings. Passed by F.C. Barcelona ground as well (extra photo). It was very cold on the top of the bus. Had a lovely meal at a tapas restaurant in the evening.
