Chimney pots

Gill and I drove up to the so-called 'craft town' of West Kilbride, where we were impressed with the display of beautiful crafts in the Barony Centre, but disappointed to find most of the studios in the main street closed.

In a side street I noticed this row of former chimney pots now being used as flower pots. The chap speaking to the hens behind the gate was an added bonus.

The rain stayed away until late afternoon. That was another bonus.
