Black Eyed Susans and Purple Cone Flowers

Things seem to be a few weeks early in the garden this year.

Usually the purple cone flowers and black eyed Susan's are more August flowers than July, and the little yellow birds that eat their seeds don't usually appear until late August, but I saw a pair of them yesterday.

At this rate my garden will be over by September.
