Garden architecture

Garden clearing up day- mending the shed that suffered during Storm Katie and digging up the last of the bolted leeks. What shall we plant this year? We do not need 100s of leeks; Mr P  planted so many little seedlings last year that he lovingly grew from seed but forgets it's just two of us now.   I have just dug up most of  his crop.  I am much better at digging up  and large scale pruning. That's why I volunteer my time to do woodland management and pay the lovely Lydia to do the weeding.
Really the garden is much too big for us now. We bought it when we had two small boys who wanted to play football.
