Hello, Jane, Got A New Motor?
Backblip for Saturday 26th March 2016
At last I was able to pick up my new(er) car! It was a bit of a wrench to drive away from Dad's old Corsa, even though it wasn't viable to keep hold of it any more. Added bonus for the replacement is that the warranty includes RAC comprehensive breakdown cover for a year, so I can cancel my existing cover and save a bit of cash.
After all the excitement of the new(er) car and dinner, there was only time to take a few quick photos in the garden before taking Mum and her friend Hazel to St Luke's for the Easter Vigil and Service of Light in the evening. It starts off in the dark, and there was a very dramatic moment when our priest, Anne-Marie, threw open the doors to reveal a flaming fire burning just outside. Only problem was that the wind was blowing a gale, which made it almost impossible to light the Easter candle from it! Although it was a magical service, Mum really shouldn't have gone as she was feeling unwell - sickening for a nasty cold, as it turns out.
