The elephant in the room

There is a lot to do before I go away.

There is festival stuff, a desk that is invisible under the piles of "stuff" on top, clothes to sort out, memory cards to format and a myriad other things.

I've been at it all day.

I discovered that photographing this little sandstone elephant was impossible tricky.  The human eye moves and allows you to see the shape of the whole elephant inside the globe. The camera is static and does not allow this.  I've chosen to show the elephant's eye.

My perspex board is already showing far too many scratches too.

Otherwise, Mum continues to cough which is very tiring for her. She is sitting upright for 30 minutes after the antibiotic tablet, thankfully its only once a day.
