Pennies from Heaven

There is something oddly fascinating about discarded coins. They're not just coins. They've gone on a little journey, experienced a little fumble-fingered drama before they catch your eye amongst the pavement detritus. Recently I had an idea: what would happen if I put all the coins I found on the concrete into a jar and watched them accumulate? How long would it take me to fill the jar? Would folks flock for miles to see such a cutting edge conceptual art installation?
