The Heart of The Trossachs

I had to go over to Callander this afternoon, and as expected it was heaving with tourists. For Callander (Dr Finlay Casebook country for those of us old enough to remember the series) is the heart of the Trossachs and stuffed with quirky shops.
 
One is a shop devoted totally to Christmas decorations, another specialises in old-fashioned boiled sweets. But my favourite is one crammed with Victoriana (see extra photo).  For those of a minimalist taste this shop would be a living nightmare. But lovers of antique bric-a -bra it is heaven on earth.
Wonderfully weird.
