Flying,Farming and Marconi.

The hill along the background above the A30( Salisbury - Andover road) is where Marconi had his wireless hut. The hut is still there. Anyway it was from here that he sent the first wireless signals to Bath, a distance of 34 miles, in October 1897. Can`t get a photo of the hut, there is a huge ,ugly and bad tempered dog nearby.
